Alpacas & Dogs

Alpacas are one of four types of Camelids living in South America, the wild Vicuna and Guanaco and the domesticated Alpaca and Lama.

Alpacas look somewhat like either a small lama, being about a third to half their size, or a tall and very elegant sheep with long legs and a long graceful neck.

Even seeing them on television or in pictures cannot prepare you for the delight of actually moving amongst them.
 

 Dogs

The Dog programme includes 15 showing and 2 obedience classes with two rings for showing classes. This is a very well supported section, with dog lovers coming from all distances over Ireland to the Show, and this year, we are hoping that it will not be an exception. An exhilarating extra to this programme is the Dog Agility competition, and several displays will take place over the day.

Rescued dogs are included in the programme also.
