Forestry & Energy

This is relatively recent section to the show porfolio and encompases two main areas, foestry products and services and sustainable energy technology, which has really come to the fore in recent times. The foestry section covers forest harvesting equipment and foestry products. Additionally various foestry consultancies companies are on hand to provide potential growers advice in this rapidly expanding are of farming.

The sustainable energy section covers all the latest in the green energy section, including geo-thermal and  solar wind energy technologies. A huge range of these technologies will be on display on the day, and all sorts of advice is available to interested parties.

Teagasc’s Forestry Development Department and the Forest Service  were in attendance at the Tullamore Show on Sunday 14 August.  This year Teagasc will focus specifically on Felling Licences and Stack Measurement.
