Soprano YVONNE O' TOOLE is a young lady whose star has been on the rise during 2019. The Birr lady was one of the special musical guests invited to perform at the Miss Universe Ireland 2019 Final Show in the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin on August 1st. Hosted by Miss Universe Ireland director and international model Brittany Mason, and celebrity James Patrice, the night saw Yvonne sing to an international audience as the event was broadcast 'live' on Facebook. And Yvonne has another big night on the way this October (Saturday, the 12th) when she hosts her solo concert, An Evening of Elegance & Enchantment, in the grand ballroom of Charleville Castle here in Tullamore.
In what is sure to be the most memorable of occasions, Yvonne will be backed by a string quartet and her special guest, Irish harpist Elaine Hogan, in a unique fundraiser to benefit the historic castle. Yvonne was also in the public eye earlier this year when she released a video for her glorious reimagining of two of the world's most loved songs, the ballad Angel by Canadian singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan, and the beautiful hymn, Ave Maria, brilliantly and delicately fusing the two to create Angel Maria. In March of this year Yvonne was one of the special guests invited to the final of R.T.E's ratings-topper, Dancing With The Stars.
Yvonne's talents extend to musical theatre also, and as well as starring in the role of 'Emma' for Tullamore Musical Society's production of Jekyll & Hyde this year, Yvonne has held leading roles in Jesus Christ, Superstar; Sweeney Todd, Fiddler On The Roof, and more. Yvonne has also performed at the Rose of Tralee with country star Mike Denver, and has sung in Knock Basilica.
A much sought after performer for wedding ceremonies, Yvonne was named as an industry expert in their Wedding Ceremony Singer category by CONFETTI, Ireland's number one wedding magazine this year.
