We realise that there is a lot to see and do at the show so to help you we have several information boards, sponsors listings and site maps located at several key points throughout the showground’s. This year we are upgrading our internal signage so navigating the site will be a ‘doddle’.
Judging will commence in all sections, except Inventions, at 10:00am on Sunday morning.
The Indoors Sections, e.g. Cookery and Horticulture will also be starting at 10:00am.
We try to have the Pavilions open to the public after judging as early as possible.
The Inventions are judged on Saturday (11th) from 10:00am.
We would encourage everyone to have an agreed meeting point in place, in case children get separated from their minders. A good idea is to write the minders mobile number on the child’s hand, in case they get separated in the crowds. When all else fails, we will have the details announced from the Secretary’s Office at the H.Q. Carrie Acheson, our voice of the show, has never failed to ‘find the minders’ yet! The Garda office will also assist lost children.
LOST AND FOUND:
Lost belongings may be found at the HQ office or the Garda Office. Please watch the website and Facebook on the days after the show as we will list any found and unclaimed items.
MAPS – WHAT IS WHERE:
The Irish Farmers Journal / Tullamore Show will have a free leaflet, containing a site map and these will be distributed free at the entry points to the show.
There will also be a number of maps on boards throughout the Showground’s.
Everyone should take care and help to ensure that we have a safe and accident free visit to the Show.
Please keep in mind that there are a lot of animals on the move around the Show – being the National Livestock Show.
The terrain may be uneven, thus requiring caution with movement.
Emergency services will be provided at a few locations and near the HQ.
If needing attention, contact should be made with any of the Safety Officers, who will in turn contact the emergency services.
There will be a high Meeting Point sign, located near the HQ Area and Gate 3. This location may be of help when making plans to meet your friends.

While the majority of the classes and competitions must be pre-entered, spectators and visitors to the show will have many opportunities to avail of various competitions on the day.
