The Tullamore Show & FBD National Livestock Show have announced the competition categories of the highly anticipated National Invention Competition, inviting innovators and inventors from across Ireland to showcase their own machine or device at the 2026 event.

The competition categories include

• Agricultural / Horticultural
• Industrial
• Domestic / Commercial
• Sustainability / Environmental
• Student Class

Entries for the competition will open online at the end of May 2026.

Taking place at the Tullamore Show & FBD National Livestock Show on Sunday, 9 August 2026, the competition aims to celebrate innovators and encourage inventions that could change the way we live, work or protect the environment
