470: Classical Ladies Side Saddle

HORSES ➤ Horse Showing ➤ Classical Ladies Side Saddle Sun 13th Aug 2023

Open to SSAI Adults members and non-members 
Aged 18 & Over on 01.01.25, on horses exceeding 148cm. This Class to be judged 25% confirmation and action, 25% manners and way of going, 25% rider and 25% turnout of horse and rider. Judge may request a short show, but will not ride exhibit, horses will not be stripped. Traditional habits must be worn. 

General Rules & Regulations 

  1.  The same exhibited animal can only receive one first prize (Red Rosette) and must attend championship before prize money will be furnished. 
  2.  The Committee reserve the right to cancel a class or classes or to have some classes amalgamated on the grounds of insufficient entries.
  3. Exhibitors will be responsible for having exhibits shown in a  proper manner and numbered according to the Show catalogue.
  4.  Decision of Judges in all matters will be final. 
  5.  No Person will be allowed to enter the judging ring with judges in any class except the stewards of the class and those in charge of the animals. Any exhibitor interfering with judging can be disqualified. 
  6. No animal shall enter the judging ring wearing a Rosette, except in champion of the show classes.
  7.  We are affiliated with ISA, IPS and the Clydesdale Horse Society.
  8.  Horse Riding is a dangerous sport and all competitors in ridden classes are strongly advised, for their own safety, to wear appropriate head gear which complies with up to date safety standards.
  9. The use of mobile phones in the judging rings is strictly forbidden.

No Pre Entry in the Horse Section, All entries taken on the day. Entries will be accepted on Show morning up to 11.30. 

All rings commence at 10.30 am sharp.
The Organisers reserve the right to amalgamate or cancel a class with insufficient entries, in all rings.
N.B.: Dept. of Agriculture & Food requirements in relation to horses and other equines.
The registration number of the premises from which horses come, together with the passport number of the animal must be given on the entry form.

All entries accepted for the horse section on Show day only. All Entries can be made at the secretary tent on show morning
