The continuing success of the Horticulture and Farm Produce Section since 1991 is due to the unfailing support of our exhibitors who arrive at our marquee loaded down with numerous entries of a superb standard. We owe them an enormous debt of gratitude. This year there are 110 classes, as well as the following four All Irelands:
1.All Ireland Quality Potato Championship (No Direct Entry).

3.Kitchen Garden All Ireland (No Direct Entry)

4.Single Hybrid Tea Rose All Ireland (Direct Entry).

Exhibitors may submit exhibits on Saturday evening, 10th August from 6.00pm to 9.00pm and on Sunday morning 11th August, from 7.00am to 10.00am.
Judging starts at 10:00am
Marquee will be open to the public at 12 noon.

Exhibits returned after 5.00pm.
Number of prizes awarded is at the discretion of the judges.
Exhibits displayed at owner’s risk.

Late Entry Fee: €6 on Show weekend. No admission credits allowed for late entries.

No Late entries accepted after 9.30am on Show Morning.
Prizes:
1st - €25, 2nd - €15, 3rd - €10, 4th - €5 except where otherwise stated.

To make the Horticulture and Farm Produce Section more interesting for the public, each entry should be named where possible. In the event of a tie, naming will count.

Closing date for all hardcopy entries is: Monday 1st July 2024.
Closing date for all online entries is: Friday 5th July 2024.

Exhibitors may use the Society's vases if they wish.

  1.  Presentation will be taken into account when being judged.
  2.  Name variety where possible.
  3.  Entries may be left into the Horticultural Marquee from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday 10th August and on Sunday morning 11th August from 7.00am to 10.00am.

Prizes: 1st - €25, 2nd - €15, 3rd - €10, 4th - €5

Each exhibit should consist of 1 single Hybrid Tea Rose. Condition of stem and foliage will be taken into account. Exhibitor must use vases provided by the Show Society. The exhibit must be grown by the exhibitor.
