The continuing success of the Horticulture and Farm Produce Section since 1991 is due to the unfailing support of our exhibitors who arrive at our marquee loaded down with numerous entries of a superb standard. We owe them an enormous debt of gratitude. This year there are 110 classes, as well as the following four All Irelands:
1.All Ireland Quality Potato Championship (No Direct Entry).

 Class: 651 - Sponsored by Bridge House Hotel and Leisure Centre, Tullamore
3.Kitchen Garden All Ireland (No Direct Entry)

4.Single Hybrid Tea Rose All Ireland (Direct Entry).
Class: 702 - Sponsored by the Hutton - Bury Family, Charleville Estate, Tullamore
Exhibitors may submit exhibits on Saturday evening, 10th August from 6.00pm to 9.00pm and on Sunday morning 11th August, from 7.00am to 10.00am.
Judging starts at 10:00am
Marquee will be open to the public at 12 noon.

Exhibits returned after 5.00pm.
Number of prizes awarded is at the discretion of the judges.
Exhibits displayed at owner’s risk.

Late Entry Fee: €6 on Show weekend. No admission credits allowed for late entries.

No Late entries accepted after 9.30am on Show Morning.
1st - €25, 2nd - €15, 3rd - €10, 4th - €5 except where otherwise stated.

To make the Horticulture and Farm Produce Section more interesting for the public, each entry should be named where possible. In the event of a tie, naming will count.

Closing date for all hardcopy entries is: Monday 1st July 2024.
Closing date for all online entries is: Friday 5th July 2024.

  1. Exhibits may be staged in the Horticultural Marquee from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday 10th August and on Sunday morning 11th from 7am to 10am.
  2. All exhibits may be brought to the venue partially completed for staging.
  3. Please note that late entries will not be accepted on Saturday or Sunday.
  4. All exhibits must be staged within the space provided. All measurements are approximate.
  5. Backgrounds or drapes, if used, must be free-standing. Nothing may be attached to the staging in any class.
  6. The use of aerosol cans is not permitted inside the marquee.
  7. All exhibits must be the unaided work of the exhibitor.
  8. All exhibits will be judged in accordance with the NAFAS Competition Manual 2015.
  9. A black background is provided for all exhibits
  10. Competitors may not enter more that one exhibit in any class.
