We are delighted to announce a new record for the Livestock programme in the sheep section with 18 Breeds competing in 121 classes to become the 2023

Champion of Ireland Premier Show.

We are thrilled to announced that both Swaledale and Lanark Sheep Breeds will be joining us this year. Both breeds are running their all-Ireland classes at Tullamore Show, and we cannot wait to see them compete.

The sheep section also offers classes in Commercial which include classes for the best Pair of butcher's lambs and best pair of factory lambs to name a few.

So do "EWE" have what it takes to become Champion of your Breed at Tullamore Show & FBD National Livestock Show.

  Tickets are on sale now  online for €20 or on the day for €25.  Tullamore Show really is a great family day out with free entry for children under 12.

The Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show are delighted to announce that they will have been selected as the venue to host the Commercial Blonde Sired Calf extravaganza on Sunday 13th August 2023 at the Butterfield Estate. With a whopping prize fund of over €2,000 this is a class not to be missed.

It is a commented three-year programme for the Blonde Breed and will highlight some of the excellent Characteristics that this breed has to offer, Very Docile, Excellent growth and muscle development, easy calving, excellent confirmation, exceptional fertility rates in the Blonde Bulls and outstanding maternal qualities.

The Commercial Blonde Sired Calf Extravaganza Class consists of the for Rules for entry, why not take a look:

1. Blonde Calf born in 2023.
2. Male or Female weighing up to 385kg.
3. Calf must be sired by a Blonde. 
4. BAX must appear on animal passport.
5. Prize winning calves will be required to give a DNA sample.
6. Prize money will be paid after DNA results are confirmed.
7. This class will take place in the Pedigree Blonde ring.
